Dr. Tammira Badakhshan is a Maryland native, born and raised in Gaithersburg. Dr. Badakhshan completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She then attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Badakhshan has been practicing as a general dentist for over five years. She provides comprehensive dental treatment to both adults and children. Dr. Badakhshan not only provides basic preventative care and restorative dentistry, but has extensive experience in cosmetic procedures including veneers and whitening. She is Invisalign certified and can provide orthodontic treatment to adults who qualify.

Dr. Badakhshan is committed to providing excellent care while maintaining lasting relationships with all of her patients. She prides herself in providing the best possible dental experience to each individual.

As a member of the Maryland State Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Badakhshan is one of the most well-respected young dentists in Maryland. She is enhancing her skills with continuing education courses each year.

Outside of work, Dr. Badakhshan enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves traveling to new places. She is fluent in Farsi.
