He completed advanced clinical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and advanced prosthodontics at Brian Allgood Community Hospital, where he developed extensive experience in complex surgical and restorative care. Dr. Sullivan received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, with honors. Her passion is providing compassionate, comprehensive, excellent care to patients with respect and concern for their overall health. She has extensive background in restorative dentistry, including implant restorations, tooth-colored fillings, porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures and partials.

Kate Nematollahi, D.D.S.
General and Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Nematollahi graduated from The University of Maryland College Park with a B.S. in General Biological Sciences and earned a D.D.S. from The University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. She received special training and certification in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from The University of Michigan. In that 2-year Post-doc program, she received specialized training in utilizing Cerec CAD/CAM technology. She contributed to clinical research projects and participated in an exchange program with the University of Zurich. For 12 years, she owned and managed a dental practice in downtown Bethesda, delivering high-quality, state-of-the-art dental care.

Dr. Nicholas Leon-Guerrero is a Board-Certified Endodontist. He is fully trained in conventional, regenerative, minimally invasive, and surgical endodontics. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. After graduation, Dr. Leon-Guerrero completed a general practice residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then furthered his training by earning his certificate of endodontics from the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Sanaz Vahid, D.D.S.
Periodontics
Dr. Vahid is a highly trained periodontist. She received her doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dentistry. After she continued her training and received a degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh. Following this year she continued to pursue her passion in dentistry and completed her training in the specialty of Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Vahid to the dental staff of Bethesda Family Dentistry.

Dr. Gramkee brings a diverse base of experience in general dentistry and periodontics to our Bethesda Family Dentistry staff. He is committed to excellence and patient satisfaction. After graduating dental school, he joined the U.S. Navy served as a Dental Officer for over 20 years before retiring at the rank of Captain. He served on the USS Constellation (CV-64) and overseas locations as a General Dentist for seven years.
